Wongungarra River

Mitchell River Catchment Area

Flowing through forested mountains south of the Dargo High Plains and the Alpine National Park, the Wongungarra River flows into the Wonnangatta River south of  Winchester in the Grant Historic Area. The Wongungarra is accessible in the Grant Historic Area, via McMillan's Track and Talbotville, Collingwood Spur or to the rivers junction with the Wonnangatta River near the settlement of Crooked River via Wonnangatta Road.
