Gippsland Lakes
Forming part of the Gippsland Lakes
and the
Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park, Bunga Arm, south west of
Paynesville,
is accessible only by boat via
Lake Victoria. The
narrow stretch of sheltered water is separated from Bass Strait by a
barrier of sand dunes and the
Ninety Mile Beach. Bunga Arm offers the visitor a range of water
based activities including water skiing, swimming and fishing,
sheltered camping sites at a number of designated locations and easy
access to the
Ninety Mile Beach a short distance across the dunes.
