• Hazards
    • Road works involving changes of road surface, road making equipment and or road gangs working in the region.

    • Road reserves in the region are used to move livestock between grazing areas as well as a source of feed during times of drought.

    • Native animals wandering onto roads at night are hard to see and can cause considerable vehicle damage.

    • Trees and debris across roads after wet & windy weather conditions especially on tree lined back roads and in park regions.

    • Snow & Ice in mountain regions especially late night / early morning during the winter months

    • Fog reduces vision so extra care needs to be taken when driving under these conditions considering other road users and stray animals that may be on the road.
