Little River Gorge

At 4 km long and up to 500 m deep the Little River Gorge is the largest / deepest gorge in Victoria. Opposite the viewing platform the Wulgulmerang Creek plunges some 300 m into the gorge

  • Location & Access
    • Northern region of the Snowy River National Park

    • 70 km (1 hr) north of Buchan

    • 145 km (2 hrs) north east of Bairnsdale

    • 425 km (5 hrs) east of Melbourne

    • A short detour off McKillop's Road to the gorge car park then take the 400 metre walking track to gorge viewing deck
