Located
in the Mitchell River National Park, the Den of Nargun is a site of great cultural significance to women in
the Gunnai / Kurnai Aboriginal community. The home of the Nargun - a half human, half stone
creature reportedly taking children venturing near the rock pool.
Water cascades
over the Den, fills the pool and continues along Woolshed creek
after local rains.
