People visiting Big Beach
need to be aware that it forms part of Croajingolong National Park
and areas of the beach are nesting sites for Hooded Plovers and
Little Terns - both endangered species in Victoria.

Walkers on the beach are
asked to keep close to the waters edge and keep an eye out for
nesting birds.

Dogs are prohibited in
the Croajingolong National Park and must remain leashed in all
foreshore areas.
