Marine Parks and Sanctuaries of East Gippsland are areas of coastal, intertidal or sub tidal land that, because of its natural environment or the nature of the waters that cover it, is of conservation or scientific significance. Marine Parks & Sanctuaries are fully protected "no take" areas of the sea protecting native flora, fauna, natural features and sites of archaeological or historical importance.
