Gippsland Lakes Yacht ClubSituated on the beautiful Gippsland Lakes offering excellent sailing conditions, the GLYC boasts good facilities, and have considerable experience in running championships and titles. Classes that have held major events hosted by the GLYC in recent years include Flying Fifteens, Ultimate 18s, Flying Dutchman, 505s, RL24s, Arrows, Paper Tigers, Tasars, Magnums, and Taipans. Formed in 1937, GLYC moved to the current Paynesville site in 1949. The club has a strong history of youth training with many young sailors achieving success.
