Museum
Situated on the
fringe of Bairnsdale overlooking
Macleod Morass, the Bairnsdale
Historical Museum building, circa 1891, houses an extensive range
of historical artifacts, has been open to the public for
inspection since 1972. Ten rooms showcase furniture,
furnishings and artifacts from the 1850's on. The items on display, and
the contents of the research archives, are preserved for the use and
enjoyment of the community.
